Had four basement windows installed during the last week of March 2016. Had to wait approximately eight weeks to get these windows installed, but this information was explained at the very beginning, before the deposit was given. Actually, I was told 8-10 weeks but Jon was able to get the windows installed sooner than expected. From the estimate to the installation, Jon and his crew were very professional, up front and honest with both schedule and pricing. Also, during the estimate, Jon was able to answer all questions asked with virtually no hesitation. He knows the products and details extremely well. I have only had these windows installed less than a week, but they appear to be installed well and with no issues. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. I am actually having Jon give me an estimate on three other projects in the coming weeks.

Gilkey & Exterior Solutions were honest, fair and installed a great product. They kept us informed every step of the way (Even with questions two days after installation). Every company should offer this level of service and professionalism!!When we need windows, I know who I will be calling. After getting detailed quotes from 3 other big named, reputable window and door companies in the Lexington area, we decided to go with Gilkey & Exterior Solutions. We couldn't be more happier with the service and results of our door. Our front door with the sidelights had rotted. To make matters worse, the sidelights were 10" and not the standard 12", which made purchasing more difficult and our options limited. Our mock up of the door we chose was identical to the product we received. THANKS to John and his excellent team!
